Forestry and Agriculture Greenhouse Gas Modeling Forum

Welcome to the web site for the Forestry and Agriculture Greenhouse Gas Modeling Forum. Information on the upcoming Seventh workshop to be held June 1-4, 2014, as well as the Forum's six previous workshops, can be found on the left-hand menu.

Forestry and Agriculture GHG Modeling Forum Participants,

We are happy to announce that the 7th Forestry and Agricultural GHG Modeling Forum has been rescheduled. The new dates are June 1-4, 2014, which is Sunday through Wednesday. The location is still the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The meeting format and overall schedule will be the same as had been planned for October, except shifted to have arrivals on Sunday rather than Monday based on venue availability. Sunday, June 1st is scheduled for arrivals and informal discussions but no formal presentations, followed by full days of presentations on Monday, June 2nd and Tuesday, June 3rd, then a half day of presentations and discussion on Wednesday, June 4th.

There is no registration fee, but space is limited and attendance is by invitation only. Therefore, we are asking invited participants to confirm their attendance during the rescheduled Forum dates by responding to the invitation email from the conference organizers and registering their attendance on this website. Please respond as soon as you can to let us know either yes, no, or uncertain (and approximate date when you expect to be able to confirm one way or the other if uncertain) so we can make any necessary adjustments to the list of invited participants and/or notify everyone when we have filled our available space.

For those that have confirmed their attendance with the organizers, please register on this website** (or update your registration information if you had registered previously), providing information on your intended arrival and departure dates, interest in shuttle or carpooling, and other information to aid in our planning. In addition, please reserve your lodging at NCTC at your earliest convenience. Please call 877-706-NCTC (6282) or 304-876-7900 to reserve a room, identifying yourself as a participant of the GHG Forestry & Agriculture Modeling Forum. You will be asked to guarantee your reservation with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or American Express).

We thank you for your patience and look forward to seeing most or all of you in June!

Best regards,
Forum Organizing Committee
